In text/jibberish: Scales of Motion & Lizard Police Beach/Pool Party 2/27/10

I will explain this through what I will call Interpretive Dance in text format. This show was a wave of party, a tsunami of rock & roll, a sushi train of fun. The sadness of the earthquake in Chile was reverberated into a bizzaro world of happiness in the Soundpony. Destruction came to both. Floaties and beach balls bouncing off of everyone’s face, screaming sweaty bodies colliding like ham hocks in a car wreck, and probably the most fun i have had at the Soundpony ever.

Scales of Motion was a slow wave of emotion and melody, rocking as they have for so long. The jams is rad, the dudes is cool, the vibe is mellow but stressful in unison, a perfect sound for a beach party in the middle of winter at a bar in a land locked state.

Lizard Police performed as heartily and loudly as they express their love for Tulsa, OK. The crowd was into it. Even the people who were not into it were forced to be into it due to the beach balls bouncing off their faces and the unrelenting heat of the human beach giving everyone a synthetic party sunburn.

This show in three words: FUN EVEN SOBER
