Madlibbing Literature with Mount Righteous

Madlib number two (and I promise, we aren’t going to do two every week) finds Texas nine piece Mount Righteous matching wits with Jack London for an interesting version of the opening passage of Call of the Wild.

We asked them to provide:

Name

Adjective

Place

They gave us:

Rocco
Merkin
Slurp
Babushka
Stinky
Colorful
Toe-Warmer
Grapevine
Pluto
Mustache
Under The Bed
Furry
Hipster
The “Pony” Dance
Under The Sea

Which results in:

Rocco did not read the merkin, or he would have slurped that trouble was brewing, not alone for himself, but for every tide-water Babushka, strong of muscle with stinky, colorful toe-warmers, from Grapevine to Pluto. Because mustaches, groping in the under the bed darkness, had found a furry metal, and because hipster and The “Pony” Dance companies were booming the find, thousands of men were rushing into under the sea.

Once again, the madlib has created pure beauty. And hopefully this time I didn’t miss a word or ask for too many.

If you are in Tulsa and you don’t see Mount Righteous at the Soundpony tonight you are making a mistake.
